Spanish Radio Talk Show Mi Preparador, Presented by Tri Tax, Bridges the Gap in Hispanic Community for Tax Information
Experts at Tri Tax take to the air waves twice a week to answer tax questions from Spanish-language listeners.
The program, Mi Preparador Presentado Por Tri Tax Income Tax Sus Preparadores de Confianza, is hosted by Tri Tax Founder Carlos Marquez and Tri Tax franchisees. Each show covers an important tax-related topic - The Top 5 Missed Tax Deductions, for example - and allows listeners to call in with questions for the tax experts.
According to Marquez, Mi Preparador is "one of the first Spanish-language talk shows dedicated to educating the Latino community about ever-changing changing tax laws. Tri Tax takes its role as the largest and fastest-growing Hispanic tax franchise very seriously, and I'm delighted that we've found another way to reach out to our community."
He says using radio as a medium to inform the Hispanic community about vital tax information is a natural choice because Latinos listen to an average of 26 to 30 hours of radio per week - approximately 13 percent more than the general population. "Our goal was to meet people where they are," Marquez explains. "Based on the response, we know we've succeeded. When we're on the air, the switch board lights up with callers."
